In the 20 years he has spent in the technology industry, Kay Tick has held a variety of roles in multinational corporations, local companies and even institutes of higher learning.

He graduated from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) with a degree in engineering and launched his career first as R&D software engineer, before moving on to project management, solutions architecture, channel management, marketing and sales.

His experience spans from developing and driving sales strategies to leading cross-functional solution teams and teaching at local universities.

His diverse experiences, from driving sales strategies to leading cross-functional solution teams and teaching at local universities, have enabled Kay Tick to become techno- functional. He prides himself on knowing exactly how IT and business processes can be combined. Throughout his career, he has also been an advocate for the adoption of innovative technologies such as IoT, blockchain and more.

Kay Tick is a firm believer in lifelong learning and is constantly looking for ways to expand his knowledge and skills. Testament to his desire to mentor and mould the next generation of leaders, he completed the Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) in 2024 to enhance his coaching and facilitation skills.
